Mara Toscana is cycling around Europe to increase awareness of lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM).

Mara was diagnosed with LAM in March 2016 at the age of 31 while she was living in Australia, far from her family in Florence, Italy. She returned to Italy in December 2016 to be closer to her family following three months in hospital.

Mara set off on 10 May from Como, Italy and will cycle through Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Czech Republic completing her trip in Berlin on 15 June.

Mara is keen to meet other women living with LAM in these countries to share experiences and be part of a documentary video. Mara has met all the project costs until now but she would welcome sponsorship so that she can extend her journey.
